From WITSUP: Amy Dixon, you achieved what not many can … you rendered me speechless. I’m still gathering my thoughts as I write this.

Amy has lived five or six different lives in her lifetime and I’m not sure I’ve met anyone who has been thrown so many curveballs, but each time is more and more willing to step back into the batters box, and then (because I’m on a roll with this baseball metaphor), is more than likely going to knock it out of the park.

I learnt about some of the intricacies of racing in the blind divisions in para-triathlon, when Amy first realised that she had a condition that effected her vision, her heartbreaking childhood, her career as a sommelier – that’s drinking wine for a living you know, and so much more.
