Fox News Interview about becoming a blind triathlete
Hi Everyone! I'm competing this weekend at the Challenged Athlete Foundation's Olympic Distance Triathlon in NYC with my Guide Caroline Gaynor. This is a piece they filmed about the two of us and how I train for triathlons as a visually impaired athlete. Anna Kooiman did the interview for Fox and Friends, and is herself a triathlete. What a great piece, and I hope it gets MORE guides involved in helping visually impaired folks to become active and pursue a healthy lifestyle, whether it's going for a casual bike ride or competing an Ironman triathlon!
